Hello everyone!
I am happy to report that Max can now stand up on his own! (Provided he has something to lean up against!!) He can hold himself up on all 4's, and is starting to try and make an effort to walk (but that hasn't been working out very well yet) Can't wait for that Eddie's Wheel's cart to get here!!
Video's to follow as soon as I figure out how to video him and be close enough to catch him if he falls!

I admire your dedication! I found a cart to try out with Roxy, although her brain isn't talking to her feet so it wasn't working. Perhaps you could get a loaner while you are waiting. The place that helped me was a swimming dog therapy rehab center. Good luck with your continued success and you endless efforts for Max!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, Chris. So exciting! Mighty Max may be tottling around before his cart gets here. :) Dude and I are so happy for him and for you. He couldn't have done it without his Mom; never giving up on him, always encouraging him, learning on her own how to prop him up so he could continue to be in the midst of family activity and making sure got some exercise to keep the body strong. It seems maybe putting "slowly and surely" away for "let me show you something new today"! Continued prayers.
